With Pedimate they can only choose a new, unused name for a kitten in a registration. Processing won't be able to start till it is corrected. No more back and forth.

As much as possible, Pedibase will apply common genetic rules such as two blue cats can't produce a black kitten or all females from a red male must be tortie (or red if mum is red). It will stop common errors before processing even begins so again, less back and forth.

Reports from Pedibase will tell you exactly who is registering and who isnt. Statistics like this are vital to make sure members comply with your rules. There can also be an issue of legislation compliance. Need everyone to desex prior to sale? Make a desexing certificate a requirement for the registration processing to commence.

Pamela Lanigan
Pamela Lanigan has over 20 years of experience breeding and showing cats. She has also been very involved in running cat shows, being on cat association committees and volunteering as a registrar.
Together, they are creating Pedibase under the Cats Down Under brand.
